The 3rd International Smart Cities in Smart Regions Conference “Hands on!”

The Conference 2021 is organized by the Urban Living Lab Breda, Avans University of Applied Sciences and Breda University of Applied Sciences in close co-operation with the municipality of Breda, LAB University of Applied Sciences (FI) and a number of international, national and regional partners and operators.
INFO FOR PRESENTERS
Oral presentation
When preparing the presentation, please take into consideration that you will have 20 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions and discussion. Each session will be hosted by a session chair who takes care of the timetable. Please pay attention to the following issues:
- Clearly present the framework or theoretical background, objectives, research methods and activities, results and conclusions of your study
- Make sure you have permission to use any images that are not your own originals
- Make sure your presentation is clearly structured and the language is understandable
You are requested to send your presentation via Onedrive in pdf or Powerpoint format by April 13, 2022.
If this is not possible, please bring your presentation on a memory stick to the info-desk at Avans University at least an hour before your session. If you want to present your presentation in another format please notify the organizers by April 5, 2022.
Poster presentation
The maximum size of the poster is A0 in portrait orientation (vertical). You are also welcomed to bring a roll-up, however kindly notify us by April 5, 2022.
The poster should include the title of your study or case, an abstract and key words (3-5). Please describe clearly the objectives, activities and results related to your study or case. Kindly also provide your conclusions. Do not hesitate to visualize the poster by using figures, tables and pictures. Kindly also include a list of references used in the poster (if applicable) as well as the contact details of the author(s), at least the name, organization and email address. You are requested to send your poster to ULL Breda Avans university, by March 15, 2022.

Please note that we do not take responsibility for late deliveries. Please also note that the sender needs to pay the postage. Alternatively, you can also bring your poster upon your arrival to the conference latest on April 20 at 12.00 hrs to the following location:

The poster presentations will take place on April 20 and 21, 2022, according the program. The presenters are requested to be available for questions and discussions during the whole sessions.
Instructions for full papers
Authors willing to have their paper published in the conference proceedings should submit their full paper by May 1, 2022. Presenters of both papers and posters are eligible for submitting a full paper to be published in the proceedings.
